If you are interested in applying for a clinical trial at Coastal Carolina Research Center you may do so in many ways. To determine if you are eligible for a particular clinical trial, we first must obtain your permission and ask you some questions such as:
- Contact information
- Age / Weight
- Basic medical history
- List of medications you are taking
These questions will enable us to determine if it is proper for us to invite you in and schedule a time to speak with one of our local research physicians.

Our office is generally open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. One of our Recruitment & Education coordinators will be glad to speak with you.

This is our general secure email address and only one person at CCRC has access to it. Any inquiries will be handled confidentially by our Recruitment & Education coordinators. Please let us know via email what number you would like us to call and at an approximate time you will be available. We can also share more information with you about the study via email if you wish.

This is our new secure weblink. Just click on the study you are interested in a learn about the study by reviewing various materials (ie: simple study design, Doctor to Volunteer letter, Print ad, Audio Broadcast, Video Broadcast). When you are ready to sign-up for the study just click “APPLY HERE”. Please complete the simple health questionnaire and when you are finished click “SUBMIT”. This secure information will be sent electronically to our research center. We will contact you back by phone or via email to let you know your eligibility or to ask you additional questions.
- Drop-In
CCRC certainly welcomes interested volunteers to drop-in at their convenience and speak with one of our study coordinators or physicians directly. Remember we have two locations: Mt. Pleasant (link) and Goose Creek (link)
To respect your time and interest, CCRC’s goal is to response to all initial clinical trial inquiries within 24 hours. If you contact us over the weekend we will do our best to get back in touch with you on the next business day.
